Here's a really grammatically poor verse from the Book of Mormon:

Now the king conferred the kingdom upon his son, and he called his name Anti-Nephi-Lehi.

Who is "he"? Is it the king, or the king's son Lamoni?

Answer:

Either Lamoni or Lamoni's father. It is ambiguous.
